If that’s you, click the link below to get started:
The biggest question I get from my clients is:
“Now that I’ve lost the weight, how will I keep it off for life?”
While most coaches will lecture you on diet and exercise, I teach my clients something different.
Let me explain what I mean.
On a recent mastermind call, my client Dan – a high-flying divorce lawyer, the kind who’s usually chained to his desk – shares that he jetted off to Spain on a whim.
Crazy, right? Because for folks like us, work is the North Star.
But Dan ditched his old playbook and embraced spontaneity.
What does sipping Sangria in Sevilla have to do with maintaining your trim waistline?
Easy.
It’s about vibrancy in your daily life.
If you’re just clocking hours and grabbing whatever’s easiest to eat between meetings, guess what? The fridge becomes your best friend.
Because learning the details about fat loss and nutrition is easy. And you can learn it fast. Especially if you’re a smart, successful person. (And ALL of my clients are smart and successful.)
But overhauling your mindset, breaking the ‘profit over everything’ cycle?
That’s the real grind.
Six months in, Dan found his groove.
This is about prioritizing your well-being like your wealth. That’s the secret sauce to owning your fitness journey – for the long haul.
Here is your Unstoppable After 40 Friday Digest:
1. How to Slash Holiday Weight Before It Starts.
The holiday season is upon us.
You’ll see and hear statistics suggesting people gain as many as 10 pounds during the holidays.
Likely you won’t put on double-digit weight, but a recent study in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that devourers of turkey and Christmas cookies gain an average of 2.2 pounds from mid-November to New Year’s Day.
Obese people were even more likely to gain extra weight.
The problem is compounded because the bulges accumulate over the holidays and the years.
This season, though, can be different. That’s why we have a gift for you. We decided to share the same fat loss protocol that we give to our clients during the holiday season. Usually, they start 10 days before Thanksgiving, so they can get leaner and stay ahead of the game.
This protocol helps you lose 3-5lbs and because of that most of our clients end up enjoying themselves more while eating their favorite foods but with moderation. No more holiday season guilt.
Take advantage of this and avoid the belly-ballooning this holiday.

2. This Resistance Workout Will Get You Fit In 15 Minutes (No Equipment).
It’s one of the most common patterns I see as a fitness coach: People trying to get (and stay) in shape work out diligently for months—then get derailed by the holidays or a big deadline at work.
Many then “fall off the wagon” for the rest of the year.
It’s a seesaw that plays out physiologically too. Exercise regularly and you get a training effect—adaptations in the brain, circulatory system, respiratory system, metabolism, muscles, and bones that optimize health and function.
Stop exercising and your body starts adapting to that—doing nothing—so you start to lose all these benefits you worked so hard for.
On top of that, many people believe they need to spend an entire hour in the gym or it’s a waste of time.
Wrong!
That’s why I came up with this simple, do-anywhere workout. It takes only 15 minutes a day, it requires minimal or no equipment, and it focuses on compound exercise (big muscles, big movements) so it’s certain to be effective.

3. The Best Habit To Develop Before The End Of The Year.
Around this time of year, we often wait until New Year’s resolution time before we commit to a new habit or goal. There are 51 days left in 2023. Why wait until 2024?
If there is one “habit” I would encourage you to adopt or resolve to do, without a doubt, it would be meditation.
I’ve shared through my podcast and posts how much meditation has influenced and changed my life, and it has and continues to do so.
Are you currently a meditator? If so, amazing! This week’s newsletter is just a casual reminder of how powerful the practice is for your daily life.
Not meditating quite yet? That’s ok too!
We all have to begin somewhere! This week I want to challenge you to commit to this practice for the rest of the year!
There’s dozens of meditation apps on the Market, youtube channels, podcasts, books, etc.
For beginners, I like to suggest the Headspace App. Although I don’t use it anymore, it’s the app I started with.
Go ahead, download the Headspace App and commit to do the 10 days of 10 minutes and make a call based on that.

Legendary Life Coaching Client Highlight: Kyle C.
Meet Kyle, a 39-year-old busy professional who was hopping from workout to workout for years…only to aggravate his injuries.
He is like most of my clients, busy growing his career and taking care of his family and let’s not forget – nursing a meniscus injury post-surgery.
Kyle was on a mission to trim down without being obsessed about his abs. He aimed to be an energetic role model for his kids and find the mental clarity that only exercise could offer him.
In 3 months, Kyle:
- Dropped 24 pounds
- Said goodbye to his beer belly
- Gained a fitter and stronger body with just 20 minutes a day
- Reduced his knee pain by 80%
- Savoring family meals and vacations without feeling guilty the next day

Quote Of The Week:
“We don’t rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training.”― Archilochus
There’s nothing sexy about practice or training, but it’s one of the biggest factors influencing success or failure.
The harder you train or work at anything, the better you get at it.
Having the discipline and commitment to train continuously is what, more often than not, differentiates the good from the great.
It is also what defines your level of performance.
As Archolchus said, “We don’t rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training.”
