This is Wojciech Węcławowicz.
He’s 70 years old and shredded.
However, he started taking his fitness seriously in his 60s.
In an interview he said:
“I had become comfortable sitting on my allotment on a deckchair with a beer and having a barbecue, and before I’d realized, the kilograms started piling up.”
When I first posted this on Twitter, the first comments were about him taking TRT.
Although he claims he hasn’t, it’s also possible that he’s lying.
That said, I’ve been in this business for over 25 years. And there’s a good chance he’s telling the truth.
Why do I believe that?
Because he’s not very big—he’s just lean!
I’ve worked with guys on TRT and they still had big bellies. Taking testosterone isn’t some magical fix to your fat loss problems. It’ll help you build muscle and recover from exercise faster. But it won’t get you ripped unless you adjust your diet. I’ve also been accused of taking steroids too when I posted this photo.
The truth?
I was just lean.
If you saw me with a shirt on, you’d barely think I lifted weights because I was at 180lbs at 5’11”. Hardly a roided out giant LOL
In fact, EVERY single guy can achieve this body fat percentage with the right strategies.
Your age doesn’t limit your ability to get fit, lean and muscular.
But your mindset does.
Stop believing that your age limits you and go for it!
Here is your Unstoppable After 40 Friday Digest:
1. The top things you can do to get fitter, stronger, and healthier this year.
I’ve made a lot of mistakes with my health.
I followed a strict low-carb diet—and ended up fat.
I pushed myself with intense workouts thinking that intensity was the key to getting lean.
I tried working out twice per day to lose fat and injured myself (and didn’t even get leaner lol).
I took 100s of supplements without doing blood work to make sure they were having an effect.
What would I do if I could go back in time?
I would:
- Track calories
- Track daily protein
- Track workout progress
- Get regular blood work
I would’ve gotten into great shape without the strict diets, crazy workouts, or wasting money on supplements.
You can avoid making the same mistakes by starting these now.
Being data-driven is the key to the body and health you dream of!
2. Too busy to take a walk? Try this instead…
Walking is great for your health.
But it takes time to get it in.
That’s why this 2024 study published in the Scandinavian Journal of Medicine & Science in Sports compared walking to bodyweight squats for better blood sugar health.
They had the overweight/obese participants sit for 8.5 hours per day. One group took a daily 30-minute walk. The other group performed 10 bodyweight squats every 45 minutes.
The participants who took “Squat Breaks” had better blood sugar than the folks who walked for 30 minutes.
So, if you’re too busy to get your steps in, set a timer to take a break every 45 minutes and do 10 bodyweight squats.
Your metabolic health will thank you!
3. How to correct your tight neck and shoulders with 1 simple exercise.
Do you sit for long periods of time and feel neck and shoulder tightness?
Then try this miniband exercise.
You perform 10-20 reps in each position.
Use this as a warm-up for your upper body workouts or whenever you feel neck/shoulder tightness during the day.
Give it a try!
Legendary Life Coaching Client Highlight: Kevin C.
Kevin, a 32-year-old exec, was burning hours in the gym, missing precious moments with his newborn.
Then, he discovered my podcast and decided to join my coaching program.

- Built a lean muscular body that he was proud of
- Felt more confident as a man

Question of the week:
Imagine you are at the end of your life and you are granted the ability to repeat one day. Which period of your life do you choose to repeat? Which phase of life would you want to go back to? Does that tell you anything about how you should be spending your time today?
